Hello!

I know it's been a while, but my life has been more important than keeping my blog up to date;-)

Anyhow, alot has happened. I got married in Venice, Italy last summer, I've started a new production company "Under The Radar Productions", and I am currently writing my next project.
Got a new office space too.
Don't have much to disscuss at the moment cuz I'm really not in the mood, but I should have some juicy rants soon;-)

Well, they did it!

Our wonderfully responsible and fair constituent-conscious Kongress has just reauthorized the so called Patriot Akt.

We now live in the world as forseen by the literary prophet, George Orwell. He was a real prophet.

And no one is to blame more for making this prophecy realized than the Amerikan people who voted for these Republikan assholes. The Dems are not exactly innocent here either.

Poor fearful Amerikans. What will you do when we ARE attacked on Bushy's watch? What will you give up then? Nothing, that's what. Because you won't have anything left. Will you make Bush your hero then? When you realize that our Nuclear and chemical plants haven't been secured, our borders are wide open, and suddenly the warning is no longer just a color code but the flash you see just before you're vapoized? Will you still blindly follow your dear president and his republican gestapo? Will you still feel like an American? Of course you will... your fear and ego won't let you stop. You have just entered the culture of fear. You might as well kill yourself right now as we all know the saying, "A life lived in fear is a life half lived."

Terrorists haven't attacked us because they don't want to right now. Neither the Patriot Act, nor the poorly funded and misguided Homeland Security will not stop them. They will attack when they are good and ready. And now our Constitutional Rights have been ravaged in spite of it all. If you don't know you're rights then haven't got any. Looks like the Amerikan people don't know much.

Long time no...

Well, it's been a while since I last posted. Been busy with stuff.

Not much to report today but I just wanted to say hi.

Not sure what to make of this new Supreme Court nominee.
Not gonna get me to shift focus off the Rove issue though and I hope the mass media won't fall prey to this administration's diversionary tactics either as is usually the case. The media today are like weak minds under the influence of the darkside of the force.

Still looking for work, but have a new burst of creative energy nontheless. Will be writing alot in the next few days and working on a new script. It's about bloody time.

Oh, yeah, I know what I wanted to say... FIRE CONGRESS in the 2006 elections! That's right, vote 'em all out. If you've had the opportunity to watch CSPAN lately you can see just how childish and ineffective they really are. I mean it's truly ridiculous what goes on in those chambers of legislation. I continually ask myself, "Who are these people, and what are they doing?" We elected these selfish children to represent us yet they rarely ever spend any time outside the confines of the DC beltway, and they obviously don't listen to the very people who elected them. It's truly sad and amazing. What's more amazing is that most of us keep them there. They don't even try to hide the fact that their real constituents are major corporations and interest groups. It's as if they're saying to the American people, "Yeah, that's right, so what? What are you gonna do about it stupid? Why don't you go back to your Lazy-Boy, suck back a few more beers and watch the assholes on TV shoot animals for fun and profit, and leave the politics to the criminals... And remember to vote Republican in November!"
Amazing.

No one is feeling this more right now than Bush's brain himself, Karl Rove.

And as we all know, if the brain dies, the body soon follows.

Can't wait to hear how they try to spin this one.
This, plus the Downing Street Memos, and the sweet smell of impeachment is in the air.

The only one's who could fuck this one up are the Democrats and the weak-knee'd press. Let's hope they can get it together on this one.

U.S. Homeland Security - Ridiculously transparent and ineffective.

My sincere condolences to those who were killed or injured in today's attack on the London transportation system.

London officials, police, firemen, and citizens set a great example of calm and action during a time of pain and destruction. Which is more than I can say for the U.S. The world could learn a lot from the British when it comes to the public dealing with terrorism. Live not in fear. God save the queen.

Happy belated 4th!

What does the 4th of July mean to you?

For me, not only does it signify our Independence from the English Monarchy, but also recently, a day of rememberance. Rememberance of a time when our nation's Constitituion wasn't held up to the highest bidder. A time when America was envied and Democracy worked. A time when we only went to war against coutries that attacked us. A time when our press was free. A time when separation of church and state meant separation of church and state. A time when the Supreme Court interpreted the Constitution instead of re-writing it. A time before our hard earned income was taxed and the IRS didn't exist, yet Congress still seemed to always balance the budget. A time when we as Americans could actually get a job and earn a good wage without the fear that our employers would send our jobs to other countries. A time when our pensions were not dropped by huge corporations into the laps of taxpayers.
A time of statesmen, responsibility, dignity, honor, and respect for what is universally good in the world.

Now, maybe I'm dreaming, and this country of ours was never what I just descibed, but it's the ideal I grew up with. It's the American Dream and I don't think any one of us would disagree that it's not an impossible dream. All it takes is some common sense, logic, understanding, and good intentions on behalf of the greater good, not just for this country, but for all of us on this planet. We are all in this together.

Again, I hope had a Happy 4th.

The Senate on Ex-Lax

Smooth move from the Senate.

After another day of job searching, I watched the Senate vote to approve CAFTA. Another trade agreement bent on preventing good honest, hardworking Americans from earning a good wage and a good living in this country. Did we not learn from NAFTA? China is kicking our ass and ripping us off while American Corporations continue to sell our country out instead investing in. This will be the ultimate downfall of our economy. As we suck up cheap shit made in China at the local WAL-MART, China is continuing to buy our designs and products in order to manufacture cheap rip-offs and sell them back to the U.S.

Question - Why are we dealing with China? They are still a communist nation with no civil rights for their people. By trading with China, buying their cheap ass products, and boosting their economy the U.S. is supporting communism and the absence of civil rights for the Chinese people. Making the Chinese government rich does nothing for the people of China.

Now, with CAFTA, more cporporations will be able to send more manufacturing jobs to Central America, thus completely destroying the Middle class American.

It's almost getting to the point where if you want a good job, you have to go to another country to get it. Granted it won't pay you jack shit, but hey, work's work... right?

If you have the interest, and can snap out of your apathy for a moment, please call your Representative in Congress and urge them to vote no on CAFTA. Let them know that as a constituent, this could very well determine whether they have a job in the next election.

Well, Mr. Bush's speech was nothing more than more of the same desparate, fear enticing 9/11 rhetoric from his earlier campaign speeches. Public opinion goes down - mention 9/11, Downing Street Memo shows up as smoking gun, proving the Bush administration was already on track to ambush Iraq well before going to the UN - Mention 9/11. Unbelievable! How many times will the American public fall for this lame tactic? I guess this will determine just how stupid this country is. I'd like to give the american people the benefit of the doubt, but judging from this country's past reactions, I fear the Bush administration will have achieved what they wanted... to buy more time.

Have you no shame, Mr. Bush? He is without a doubt the second best liar I've ever seen. Mr Cheney being the number one of course. They lie with straight faces and with such conviction. It truly amazes me what kind of personality - pathology, one must have to develop in order to completely remove one's conscious. Sociopath? Psychopath? Megalomaniac? All of the above?
And has Donald Rumsfeld actually ever received a formal education, or did the dog eat his homework everyday before school?

On top of that, during his speech, Bush said he's not going to send more troops, yet he slying encouraged the youth of America to sign up and fight his illegal war. This of course due to the fact that military recruitment is severely down causing recruiters to fudge information for volunteers whose backgrounds include heavy drug abusers and the mentally unstable. I'd like to see a TV series about a platoon of druggies and crazy people. It'd be like M*A*S*H meets One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Actually that's not a bad idea... for TV I mean;-)

Welcome to all of you happen to stumble onto my blog. I will try to post here daily on a variety of subjects so please feel free to post your comments and links as often as you like. If, however, I fall behind on the daily thing, it only means my life is getting pleasantly busy;-)But please keep checking back for updates.
